Greetings,

It's hard to believe we're halfway through the school year.  The school is currently involved a fundraiser called "Pasta for Pennies" to raise funds for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.  This society helps support cancer cures.  The class that collects the most money will win a pasta lunch catered by Olive Garden.

The students have been receiving guidance lessons on bullying, honesty, and friendship.  The mentoring program at Carrcroft has been a work in progress and will begin soon.  We are still seeking parent volunteers for mentors, especially positive male role models. Any parents interested in mentoring please contact me by calling the school or emailing me at lawrence.christie@bsd.k12.de.us.
