• Assistive Technology and Augmentative Communications

    Assistive Technology is the use of technology to provide support that allows students with disabilities to complete assigned tasks to meet their educational goals. 
    Augmentative Communications is the use of technology to provide the means with which students with disabilities can communicate more clearly in speaking and writing, and the means with which teachers can communicate more clearly with students who have disabilities that affect their communications.
    These services are accessed with a referral form that is completed by school personnel and sent to the Pupil Services office.
