  • The Performing Arts is an important part of the school experience.  It empowers kids to be more creative, get better grades in other subjects and to build self confidence. Brandywine School District offers opportunities for students to take the stage in music and drama performances starting in 4th grade.

Elementary schools offer orchestra, band and chorus programs as an extra curricular option for interested kids.  Winter and Spring concerts allow parents to watch their kids perform on stage.

In Middle School, students can continue to participate in music programs, with special ensembles for more accomplished musicians.  Each spring the Middle Schools will offer a junior musical production as an afterschool program.

At the High School level, there are many opportunities for students to perform.  Fall plays and spring musical programs allow actors, directors, stage hands, set and costume designers to work together in full scale productions.  Award winning music departments offer a variety of band, orchestra and choral programs for musicians. At Brandywine High School, students can take a full dance curriculum with ballet, jazz, modern and hip hop options.  All programs offer students an opportunity to perform in winter and spring concerts and performances.
