  • TERP Young Scholars 2018 - University of Maryland

    Deadline: Opens February 20, 2018 - till July 1, 2018.  
    Scholarship Info: April 1, 2018 - deadline scholarship, must be accepted first then apply for scholarship
    Eligibility: Rising high school freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors
    Program Date:  July 8-27, 2018
    Information:  "Terp Young Scholars is your opportunity to discover the challenge, excitement, and independence of campus life at the University of Maryland. With other academically talented students, you’ll pursue an academic interest, learn about career opportunities, enjoy our outstanding facilities and amenities, and get a jump on college by earning three university credits."

  • Destination Mars: Delaware AeroSpace Education Foundation

    Deadline: As soon as possible, final payment by June 15, 2018
    Scholarships:  A limited number of need-based scholarships are available upon request. Application deadline is April 30. Scholarships will reduce fees but will be exclusive of the initial $50 application fee. A separate application is required and available upon request.
    Eligibility: Entering 8th, 9th & 10th grades
    Program Date:  July 8, 2018 – July 13, 2018
    Information: Overnight camp at University of Delaware offers challenges such as designing a robotic vehicle & a rocket, solving a critical life-support problem, assembling a space station underwater, & conducting in-flight experiments in our Mars Simulation and Field Trips.

  • Boston University Pre-College Programs

    High School Honors Program - residential or online
    Deadline: Financial Aid: April 17, 2018 Regular: June 1, 2018
    Eligibility: Rising juniors and seniors
    Program Date:  Session July 1, 2018 - August 10, 2018
    Information: "High School Honors is an exciting opportunity for high school students to study alongside Boston University undergraduates, while earning up to 8 college credits in just six weeks. The program offers more than 80 undergraduate courses in a wide range of subjects, from African American studies to writing—and everything in between, including biology, chemistry, economics, mathematics, philosophy, and visual art. Guidance is provided to help students identify subject areas and courses that are appropriately challenging and applicable to their anticipated college major."
    College Credit: up to 8 credits
    Website High School Honors Program: 
    *There are many different residential programs on the website for students entering grades 9, 10, 11, and 12.  The other programs do not give college credit.

  • University of Rochester Pre-College Programs

    Deadline: Various depending on program, March 1, 2018 (Mini Medical School, Explorations in Pathology), March 15, 2018 (Engineering, Business, Film), May 30, 2018 (Taste of College)
    Program Date: Various July and August
    For rising 11th and 12th grade students
    Information: Pre-College options include participating in an intensive three week engineering, business, film or medical program, or living on campus for four or six weeks to complete a college class for credit  See website for more information.
