Acting Assistant Principal, 8th Grade Administrator

I remember being a student at Burnett middle school and the impact the teachers and administrators had on me as a student. Before attending middle school, I never gave any thought to being an educator. I honestly thought I would be a Wilmington fireman like my father. It was once relationships were established with teachers and administrators that I realized education is where I wanted to be. The opportunity to have a positive impact on students is an honor.

I have been with the Brandywine School District for the last 20 years and I am excited about being here at Talley. As the 8th grade administrator, I look forward to supporting families and staff members as we encourage and prepare our students for both high school and life.

I am a proud husband, a father of three children, and a happy grandfather.

    Assistant Principal, 6th Grade Administrator

As the 6th Grade Administrator, I love being with students and families as they begin their adventures at the secondary level. I truly enjoy getting to know them as OUR students. Being a support for students and families as they transition from elementary school to middle is a passion of mine. I look forward to supporting all of our students, but especially those that are the newest because we will be in it together!

I  was born and raised in Delaware and graduated from The Charter School of Wilmington. I attended the University of Delaware where I majored in Elementary Education. After college, I immediately went into teaching and never looked back. I have taught grades 2-5 in Delaware and Maryland, was an instructional support for teachers, and was a Dean of Students. I am beyond ecstatic to be a Talley Tiger and have an amazing year with our students, who are the newest to the pack.

I have an amazing husband and three wonderful children, two of whom will be joining the pack this year!

Dean of Students, 7th Grade Administrator

I was born and raised in Claymont. My early years of education were spent in the Brandywine School District. My time in Brandywine made such an impression that once I graduated from college I wanted to return to BSD as an educator. I have been a special education teacher at the elementary and middle levels, but my heart lives with Talley. I believe that schools should be at the center of the community, forming relationships with families and community members. I am excited about working with the students in a new capacity as the Dean of Students. My goal is to help them grow developmentally and academically so they are prepared to reach their future goals.

I can be found in the community with my husband and two children. I am extremely close to her family, who all reside in the Claymont community. I am a board member of the Ladies Auxillary at the Claymont Fire Company, was an active volleyball and softball coach for many years, and can be found on stage and behind for anything musical that happens at Talley. I am excited about beginning this new journey with my nephew as he joins the Talley family as well this year!
