Super 91.7 WMPH
WMPH Station Management
Paul Wishengrad came to teaching radio broadcasting and journalism at Mount Pleasant High School way back in 2011, after a 25-year career in commercial radio broadcasting in Philly and Wilmington. He has been a creative director, drive-time host, music director, mentor, and production director, and brings decades of experience in marketing, ad campaign design, copywriting, audio editing, voiceover work, interviewing, music direction, and station programming. He has also gone up on a hot tar roof and sprayed wasp spray into the feed cone of a great big satellite dish, so he reckons he's ready to manage WMPH while teaching four levels of Radio Journalism, and directing WMPH Radio Summer Camp every July.
The WMPH Advisory Board is a group of listeners, BSD officers, alumni of Mount and WMPH, and other stakeholders who care about the district's radio station - what it does, and the direction it's going. The WMPH Advisory Board holds public meetings three times annually, usually the second Monday of March, July and November at 6pm at WMPH studios.
The next meeting is Monday November 7, 2022 via Zoom at 6:00pm. All are welcome, email for Zoom link.
