Mr. Jeffrey Lawson, Dean of Students
I cherish the opportunity to work with the students, families, and staff daily as the 8th Grade Administrator at Talley Middle School. At Talley, we foster a successful learning environment through the Talley Way message. The message is “Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be Focused”. Students are inspired by the Grit traits. They learn how they can overcome any obstacles to be as successful as they want in both school and life. The Talley staff is a family who works to know every student by name and what they need. The staff tries to provide the students with everything that they need to be successful.
During my years as an educator, I have learned that personal drive, communication, and relationships are the perfect recipe for success. As a Talley Family, we remind our students to celebrate success and use failures to make themselves better. I believe that every student at Talley Middle School will succeed and grow each day. They will accomplish the goals that they have set forth for themselves.
