Paul Wishengrad - Station Manager
Mr. Wishengrad is a 25-year veteran of the radio industry and has worked as an air personality and production director in both Philadelphia and Wilmington. You may have heard him recently in the afternoons on 94.7 WDSD, or over the previous two decades on 99.5 WJBR going by the on-air name Paul Lewis. He is heavily experienced in all facets of radio station management and programming. Mr. Wishengrad has worked in almost all station functions including live air talent, voice tracking, copy writing, recording, editing, audio production, training, promotions, automation, general operations, and marketing. He sets high standards for the professionalism of the station's overall sound, and always actively improving and expanding his Radio Broadcasting & Tech curriculum. Contact Mr. Wishengrad.
Sophia Schmidt - Youth Media ProducerSophia Schmidt is a Delaware native. She comes to Delaware Public Media from NPR’s Weekend Edition in Washington, DC, where she produced arts, politics, science and culture interviews. She previously wrote about education and environment for The Berkshire Eagle in Pittsfield, MA. She graduated from Williams College, where she studied environmental policy and biology, and covered environmental events and local renewable energy for the college paper. Sophia enjoys throwing pottery, hiking and cooking for family and friends.
