Health & Well-Being

  • The health and safety of our students, staff, families, and community is of critical importance and guides all of our decision-making. As students transition back into classrooms based on family preference, their physical and emotional health and well-being is our highest priority. BSD has met and in fact often exceeded the guidelines set by the CDC, Delaware Division of Public Health, and Delaware Department of Education.

One of the most important things you can do is wear a mask. All students in grades K-12 as well as our 18-21 year-old student interns at SITE must wear a face covering at school, except when doing so would inhibit their health.

  • In this section, we have outlined many of the measures we are taking to ensure safety and reduce the spread of COVID-19 in our buildings. The Returning to School Guidance provides a comprehensive overview of BSD's considerations to support the health and wellness of our students, staff, families, and community.
