What Will Secondary Classrooms Look Like?

Because students in grades 6-12 rotate between classrooms, we will alternate which desks are used each period. The two examples provided show where students will sit during alternating periods.

All classrooms will be disinfected several times per day (before the day starts, between periods 2 and 3, and again at the end of the school day) and will undergo a deep cleaning on Wednesdays when all students are learning from home.

The sample classroom pictured is approximately 880 square feet and could accommodate 15 students at a time. Some BSD secondary classrooms are larger and some are smaller; the median secondary classroom in BSD is 800 square feet.
