Brandywine School District preschool registration
Brandywine School District offers preschool at three locations: Bush Early Education Center, ECAP, and Darley Road.
Bush Early Education Center serves three and four year-old students in half day programs. Using the Big Day for PreK curriculum, we provide opportunities for all students to learn through daily involvement in a variety of hands-on, participatory activities.
ECAP is a state-funded preschool program with free tuition for income-eligible families with four year old children.
Registration for the 2023-2024 school year will open for families on February 27, 2023. The form can be completed online (here).

BSD loves our littlest learners! We know that preschool builds a firm foundation for the beginning of a child's education.
Here at BSD, we offer families three programs to choose from. These programs offer our youngest students an opportunity for exciting educational experiences, social learning, and some social services.
We hope you'll join one of these programs and start your child's education right here in BSD.

Charles W. Bush Early Learning Center - Located at Hanby Elementary
Bush Early Learning Center offers half-day programs (am and pm) for both children with special needs and for typical learners. Children can attend from anywhere in the Brandywine School District and must be 3 or 4 years old to attend. Families pay a reduced fee for their child to attend the program for typical learners. The special needs program is funded through state agencies. Click here to learn more about the program and how to register. Child Find is a federally funded program in the State of Delaware that identifies students for special education services.
