Learn More About AVID in BSD

AVID’s mission is to close the opportunity gap by preparing all students for college readiness and success in a global society. 

To be considered for the AVID Elective, students need to complete an application and interview at the school they will attend the following school year. The AVID Elective is offered in grades 6-12 in the Brandywine School District at all six secondary schools.  

In high school, students in the AVID Elective may select AVID as a Pathway in combination with a CTE or non-CTE pathway.
