The BSD School Board welcomed two German exchange students and their two chaperones at the March 24 Board meeting. The students are participating in the District's exchange program with Torgau, Germany.Sixteen students from Torgau are currently studying in BSD high schools and living with BSD families for three weeks to immerse themselves in American culture. The Torgau Exchange Program was developed in 1996 as part of a partnership between the cities of Wilmington, Delaware and Torgau, Germany. This year-long student exchange program matches Brandywine District students and families with students and families from Torgau.
