Honoring Our Outstanding Educators

This Monday, we came together to honor and celebrate our incredible building Teachers of the Year and Educational Support Professionals of the Year, the true heart and soul of our schools. Each of these educators and staff members goes above and beyond every day to support, inspire, and uplift our students. Their passion, creativity, and care make BSD the special place it is, where every child can thrive, learn, and belong.

During the celebration, members of each building’s administrative team shared heartfelt reflections about their honorees and the incredible impact they’ve made within their schools, from fostering strong connections with students to creating supportive, engaging learning environments that make a lasting difference.

We were also honored to be joined by State Representative Melanie Ross Levin, who presented Talley Middle School’s Dr. Jenna DiEleuterio with a special tribute from Delaware’s House of Representatives in recognition of her being named Delaware’s 2026 Teacher of the Year.
