MPE Purple for Mrs. Janicki!

The entire Mount Pleasant Elementary staff came together to celebrate a fellow educator who is retiring this week after an incredible 28 years of dedication and service to MPE! 

Mrs. Donna Janicki has been an educator in Delaware for over 30 years, but it was in 1996 that she began her tenure at Mount Pleasant Elementary School as a teacher in the Emotional Support Program. For the past 7 years, Mrs. Janicki has served as Dean of Students for MPE. This week she closes the chapter on her unprecedented career as a Dragon with a heartfelt send-off by her colleagues.

To honor Mrs. Janicki's amazing milestone, the entire MPE staff wore purple shirts with the message "Leading with Love: The Heart of MPE"
