Broadcasting Confidence in Every Student Voice!

Broadcasting Confidence in Every Student Voice!

Each year, our SITE Interns—young adults with special needs—get the incredible opportunity to intern at Mount Pleasant High School’s WMPH, Delaware’s first high school radio station.

They don’t just learn how radio is made—they make it happen! From conducting and editing interviews to creating powerful public service announcements, laying down voice tracks, and even DJing LIVE on the air, this internship builds confidence, independence, and a true sense of belonging.

Huge thanks to the WMPH team for helping amplify student voices in every way—and a very special thanks to Paul Wishengrad, CTE Teacher & Station Manager, whose dedication has made this opportunity possible summer after summer.
