The Brandywine School District Board of Education is seeking a dedicated and visionary individual to fill an open Board seat and help shape the future of our district.

With a focus on innovation, inclusivity, and community involvement, our district aims to prepare students for a successful future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with fellow Board members to develop strategic plans and initiatives for academic success.
- Assist in shaping and revising district policies.
- Advocate for students, families, community members, and staff to ensure their voices are heard and concerns addressed.
- Participate in regular Board meetings and contribute to the decision-making process.
- Promote transparency and open communication between the Board and all stakeholder groups.
- Serve as a district representative for the Wilmington Learning Collaborative

Residency within
Nominating Area “A” (click here) of Brandywine School District election boundaries (see Delaware Department of Elections website for nominating area map).
- A deep passion for education and a genuine commitment to improving our schools and increasing student achievement.
- Ability to collaborate and work as part of a team to achieve common goals.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Cannot be an employee of the Brandywine School District.
