The Brandywine School District receives many requests from outside agencies to distribute flyers, brochures, and other materials (collectively, Communications). These materials must be approved by District Office before they can be delivered to schools for distribution, and only non-profit agencies will be considered for approval.
The Guidelines for Distributing and Posting Materials can be found here or in the link at left. Effective August 6, 2012, the following language must appear on any Communication from an outside agency in order to be considered for approval:
These materials are neither sponsored nor endorsed by the Brandywine School District. The Brandywine School District has neither reviewed nor approved the program, personnel, activities, or organizations announced in this flyer. Permission to distribute this flyer should not be considered a recommendation or endorsement of the program by the school district. The Brandywine School District shall be held harmless from any cause of action or claim filed arising out of the distribution of these materials, including all costs, attorney’s fees, and judgments or awards.

Due to the large amounts of school and district materials that need to be disseminated, no literature will be distributed from outside organizations during the first two weeks or final week of the school year.
