  • Greetings Claymont Families,

    Claymont Elementary is a diverse school where all students, staff, and families are embraced. We are very excited to work with our staff, students, and families daily. Claymont is very focused on the whole child. We want to ensure students are academically growing along with addressing any social/emotional needs. Our staff has many years of experience in all of the aforementioned areas. Claymont offers our students various after-school programs as well as activities throughout the day.  

    Please know your child’s academic, behavior, and social growth is our top priority.

  • Claymont Elementary is home to more than 860 students in grades K-5.  We are proud of the wide variety of programs and services offered in our school, including Dual Language Immersion, Gifted Educational Services, Specialized Autism Program and a full continuum of support and services for students who learn at different paces and in different ways.  Services such as speech, occupational therapy, and physical therapy are provided on the premises whenever appropriate.
