Welcome to ECAP!
-
ECAP is a state-funded preschool program with FREE tuition for income-eligible families. Children must be four years old by August 31 and live in the Brandywine School District to be eligible for the program.
The full-day program operates Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Joseph Brumskill Early Childhood Assistance Program, located at 701 W. 34th Street in Wilmington. Breakfast and lunch are served daily.
ECAP provides students with a low teacher to student ratio. There are a maximum of eighteen students per classroom with both a teacher and paraprofessional. Developmental, physical, and dental evaluations are offered. Individualized instruction is offered for students with special needs in addition to speech, occupational, and physical therapy. Social work services are also available for all families.
