The Summer Reading Program for BSD is undergoing a shift.  Instead of us telling you what books to read, we are encouraging you to pick books, articles, and websites that interest you.  As a guideline, try to read for at least 30 minutes for 45 days during the summer.   In addition to the above recommendation, students enrolled in BSD’s Gifted, IB, and AP programs may receive specific reading lists from their teachers.
Sign Up for the National Summer Reading Challenge through USA Today for Middle and High School students.   www.curriculet.com  When you and/or your child join, you will see current event articles from USA Today.  You can track your reading time and earn badges for reading.
