Hanby Elementary participates in the Brandywine School District's Elementary Basketball League, comprised of 4th and 5th grade students. 

Each elementary school fields teams of approximately of 15 boys and girls, who are required to maintain excellent behavior and grades during school year in order to participate. Many schools also involve cheerleading squads and pep bands. This is school spirit at its best! Practices and games are held at various schools throughout the district, and parents are responsible for transportation. For questions, please contact the Main Office.
