  • I am excited and honored to be a part of the PS Panther family and your school nurse.  School is a place for your child to grow academically, physically, emotionally and socially.   My goal is to promote wellness and help maintain a healthy environment so that all of our students can thrive and be the best versions of themselves.

In order to provide quality health care during the school year, and maintain your child's optimal health, I would like to share some guidelines with you.

Sleep/Nutrition - Please send your child to school with a refillable water bottle every single day.  Also please encourage a good night sleep and encourage your child to eat breakfast.   Breakfast and lunch are available at school.

Medical Conditions - To ensure the health and safety of your child, it is important that I am aware of any medical conditions and injuries that may exist.

Medications - Medications can only be brought to school by a parent/guardian in their original pharmacy container and must be kept in the nurse's office.  The only two medications that a student may carry on their person is an Epi Pen and inhaler.   If your student needs to carry these medications please let me know.

Emergency contact information - Please return Emergency Cards to school as soon as possible and keep me up to date with your telephone numbers and emergency contact information.

Health forms - Please send a copy of updated immunizations and physical exams to the nurse so that students files are kept up to date.  These can be brought to the nurse by the student or their adult.
