Dual Language Immersion at Lancashire

  • spanish classroom The Brandywine School District implemented the Spanish Language Immersion Program at Lancashire Elementary School in the 2017-2018 school year. This program provides some of our youngest learners with an exciting opportunity to learn and engage in two languages and cultures - English and Spanish - during the school day.  Currently, two kindergarten and two first grade classes are participating in the immersion program. In the coming years as the initial group of students progresses, the program will continue to expand to second grade and so on. Ultimately, the program will provide a continuous K-12 immersion pathway.

We are now enrolling kindergarten students in Lancashire's immersion program for the 2019-2020 school year.  Only students who live in Lancashire's feeder pattern are able to register for this program. Click here for the guidelines and an application/commitment form.  Por favor, haga clic aquí y aquí para Español.
