• Sound Mind in a Healthy Body              D. Crowley, School Nurse
A good night's sleep, good food, and good health are essential for your child’s education.
If your child is not feeling her best, she won't get the most from her education.
My job as school nurse is to help parents keep children healthy.

The school district has set certain guidelines to help you decide whether or not to send your child to school. Some diseases spread easily through a school. We try to prevent this as much as possible. We encourage frequent hand washing, proper diet and rest. Most importantly, we ask you to keep your child home when he's sick. We recognize that working parents aren't always free to stay home with sick children. But, in the interest of all children, we ask you to use good judgment and keep a sick child home.
