Planning for After High School Series- 2024-2025
The Brandywine School District wants all graduating students to explore their options and make a plan for their next step. This series is designed to kickstart that process for students and families.
Attendance could be in-person or virtual via Zoom to those who register in advance.
Students/Families from any BSD High School are welcome to attend all presentations and are not limited to the one hosted at their school.
Wed, Mar 12 @ 6:30pm #1 The College Application Process hosted by Concord High School
This presentation will be an overview of the college application process and is designed for 9th-11th graders and their families who are considering college as their next step.
Wed, Mar 19 @ 6:30pm #2 Alternatives to College: Trades, Military, Job, Gap Year(s) hosted by Mount Pleasant High School Library
This will be an overview of the many alternatives available for the students who do not want to attend a traditional college program right after high school and is designed for 9th-12th graders and their families.
Wed, Mar 26 @ 6:30pm #3 Paying for College & Trade School Information Session hosted by Brandywine High School College & Career Center (C3)
This will be an overview of the Financial Aid process, scholarships, the SEED+ program, and other ways to make trade school and college more affordable. It is designed for 9th-12th graders and their families.
