Dr. Melinda Tartaglione, Vice Principal
As the 6th Grade Administrator, I am honored to work with our students as they come into Middle School for the first time. I love being with them as they begin their adventures at the secondary level. I truly enjoy getting to know them as our students. They come to us with such diverse backgrounds and stories. I love watching as they grow and add new experiences to their stories during their years at Talley.
I graduated from Middletown High School. I spent my senior year as an exchange student in Germany. After my senior year, I spent two more years in Germany studying German. I also spent a year and a half studying in Puerto Rico where my oldest son was also born. I have enjoyed my travels through 15 countries in Europe, Central and South America. I taught German and Spanish at the high school level for 15 years. I came to Talley Middle School several years ago. I very much enjoy working with our students and helping them through their middle school experience to be successful and happy.
I have four amazing, caring, fun-loving children. They love being outside and playing soccer. My oldest son has autism, so if you see me with blue hair in April for Autism Awareness Month, or wearing lots of puzzle pieces, you know why.
