Concord DECA students place at state conference

Last month, 27 Concord students participated in the Delaware DECA Career Development Conference. DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management. At the conference, students took a 100 question, multiple-choice test and competed in a role play or written event presentation. We are proud to share in the accomplishments of all 27 students who participated and to recognize the following students who won awards in their areas of competition. Many of these students will join 15,000 DECA members at the DECA International Career Development Conference April 21 – 24 in Atlanta, Georgia.

The following students placed first in their competition:

• Molly Lambdin – Restaurant and Food Service Management
• Katie Lapinski – Marketing Management
