JROTC students volunteer at Mount Pleasant Elementary

The Mount Pleasant High School Army JROTC program has partnered with Junior Achievement of Delaware Inc. for JROTC students to teach kindergarten and second-graders at Mount Pleasant Elementary School. This is part of the annual “Service Learning Project” for ROTC students, who will focus on job skills, how money works and how citizens interact with their government.  Army JROTC students will teach 5 classes each over a 4 month period to the same class each month.  The photo shows Cadet Matthew Orgeron and Cadet Cashia Corey (9th grade students)  teaching with their 2nd grade class over at Mount Pleasant Elementary.
