Mount Pleasant Army JROTC hosts U.S. Army High School Challenge

On March 22nd 2017, the Mount Pleasant High School hosted the US Army High School Challenge in the gymnasium.  The High School Challenge is an academic (STEM-focused), teamwork, and strategy-based event that promotes physical well-being and encourages students to step up and realize their leadership potential.  The event also provides students—juniors and seniors in particular—the chance to learn about scholarships and career opportunities with the U.S. Army, in industries as diverse as law, cyber security, engineering, financial management, and medicine.   Over 300 Mount Pleasant High School students were able to participate in this event.  If you are interested in taking Army JROTC at Mount Pleasant High School, please contact Lieutenant Colonel US Army (retired) Rob Pankiw at 302-762-7125 x5024.
