Summer Reading

Summer is a great time to READ!  Students of all ages are encouraged to read as much as possible over the summer.  At the elementary level, we do not have a summer reading list. Instead, we encourage children to read anything they want! Some schools may hand out a packet of questions or writing prompts to go along with the self-selected books. Those were handed out before students left for the summer.

The Delaware public libraries offer the Summer Reading Challenge to foster a love of reading, and public libraries also have great suggestions for age-appropriate and grade level books.

Here are links to summer reading assignments for high school students.  Happy reading!
