Reading aloud is one of the most important things parents and teachers can do with children. Reading aloud builds many important foundational skills, introduces vocabulary, provides a model of fluent, expressive reading, and helps children recognize what reading for pleasure is all about - at any age!

The Brandywine School District is sending each student home with a book this summer. Use these books to continue to build a love of reading and to help commit to a habit of reading aloud every day.
