Kindergarten Early Admission

The Brandywine School District offers full-day kindergarten at no cost at all elementary schools in the District. The kindergarten schedule follows the same schedule as elementary school, which is 8:35 a.m. to 3:35 p.m. Monday through Friday.  Transportation is provided for eligible students, and students may eat breakfast and lunch at school.  Families may apply for free/reduced lunch.

Kindergarten pre-registration begins in January and continues through the first day of school. If you are applying for the School Choice Program, you must register in your feeder pattern school first.

All kindergarten students must have a physical by a licensed healthcare provider prior to beginning school, per Delaware State law.  The physical must be performed within 24 months of starting kindergarten.
