Brandywine School District is excited to offer a variety of summer visual and performing arts experiences. Each experience is a four-day camp, Monday-Thursday from 9 AM - 3 PM, with different options throughout July. Summer Fine Arts runs for three weeks, allowing students to choose one, two, or three different art and music experiences. Breakfast and lunch are included. WEEK 1 - July 6, 2026 - July 9, 2026 - 9am to 3pm
DANCEOLOGY BOUND
Grade Levels: Rising 1-6
The district dance team, DANCEOLOGY, will be gearing up for a new season in September, so get a jump start on the fun this summer: beginners will learn what a dance class is like, master essential dance skills, and explore creating original dances, while dancers with experience will sharpen technique, hone performance skills, and nurture their inner choreographer by designing brand new dance creations. Take 1, 2, or all three weeks, since each week will feature new music and new choreography, and all summer camp participants will be eligible to audition for Danceology in September (current team age range: 4th–12th).

Elementary Musical - Kid Flix! (Week 1 of 2)
Grade Levels: Rising 1-6
Students will learn a variety of movie hits in this exciting and fun musical revue, along with choreography and lines that accompany the music and add a dramatic element to the show. During this 2-week camp, students will also play music games, play instruments, and work on art projects. They will also learn to sing several songs and perform for family and friends on the last day of camp.

Jazz Band

This one-week Jazz Band camp is for students studying and performing jazz music, with an emphasis on jazz history and improvisation. Students will study, practice, rehearse, and perform the American art form of jazz, exploring style, history, and improvisation throughout the session, and the week will conclude with a mini concert.

Instrument Exploration
Grade Levels: Rising 3-6
Students will explore instruments including the recorder, piano, ukulele, and African percussion. They will also learn about each instrument’s history, play games, and build their own instruments. The week will end with a concert for family and friends.

Middle School Engineer's Camp
This camp is for rising 6th and 7th grade students interested in developing their engineering thinking habits while learning aspects of digital design, precision manufacturing, and physical computing to develop innovative solutions to real-world problems. This four-day summer camp teaches middle school students to design and build assistive technology devices that help real people with disabilities. Unlike traditional STEM camps focused on coding exercises or following tutorials, students learn engineering and programming skills while solving actual problems for members of their community.
